SOUTH  STAFFORDSHIRE  GOLF  CLUB, WOLVERHAMTON

The Spring Comp of IGSUK was held at South Staffordshire Golf Club, Wolverhampton, on 6th May 22,hosted by  of this club.The course is well maintained ,no water hazards and faBabu,memberirly wide fairways.The weather was mostly dry but last two groups were caught in light drizzle.

All assembled around 11.30 am for coffee and baps.All (42golfers) were welcomed  by Sujay  and Babu and briefed about the Comp and prizes. Ravish,Harshmuk,Rajashekar,Shailesh were welcomed to the society as new  members and five guests Amg,,Moez,Bill, Pete,and Gagan were welcomed.

We all gathered for refreshing drinks in the Wolverhampton cricket Club ,next to golf club for Indian Dinner and dishes were delicious over a glass of wine ,the food was prepared by local Indian Restaurant.

Mr Muddu thanked all the golfers who made the society possible from the bottom of his heart and the committee members who worked  with him to help this society grow from the beginning made in Sep 2017 at Denton Golf Club when the first Comp was held, he  also  thanked Naresh and Manish for assessing the cards and Babu for being the host.

New Committee was formed, as proposed 

Anirvan(NorthEast),Ananad(Northwest),Ravisha(Wales),Babu(Midlands),Mohan(South England ,Sujay will continue with new committee, Sujay as Secretary and Anand as Treasurer.

Twos won by two members  and received £20 each.  £80   will go to charity fund.

Finally Mr Muddu invited Ashok Ullegaddi  to cut  the cake to celebrate his 80th Birthday.

The Summer Comp will take place on 22 July  at West Lancs links Golf Course hosted by our member Miland Shorsthri and hope to see you there.
