SUMMER TOURNAMENT 2019

We were blessed with an excellent sunny weather and all the 24 golfers had a great day.

We were welcomed by our host Mr Obli Sundaram in the Members Bar area where breakfast baps were served along with coffee. Dr Ashok Ullegaddi briefed us about the format of the competition. 

It was a pleasure to meet 3 new members of the society, Mr Sanjay Patel, Mr Rick Chima and Dr Vaneet Khanna. We were also pleased to welcome 3 guests, Mr George Molyneux-Buckley, Mr Mark Jones, Mr Dan Hamer, who took part in the event. 

After a brief practice in the range the 1st group teed off at 11:50am. All the golfers found the course to be extremely challenging with its 174 bunkers and unfortunately nobody won the whisky bottle which was supposed to go to the golfer who would avoid all the bunkers.

After the round, the score cards were evaluated by Dr Asok Ullegaddi and Mr Jeyam while others had a well deserved drink in the bar. 

A delicious 3 course dinner was served along with wine in the historic Dining area of the clubhouse. 

Mr Jeyam and Mr Sujay Dheerendra announced the results.
