SPRING TOURNAMENt

It was a glorious sunny day throughout and the course was in excellent condition.  A total of 33 golfers participated in the event. We welcomed 5 guests (Mr Matt Ravenscroft, Mr Moez Obeid, Mr Gary Mcsloy, mr colin jones and mr milind pandey) and 5 new member(Dr Ravi Moodalbyle, Dr Vijaykumar Harenahalli, Mr Shantikaran Sharma, Mr Barney Patel, Mr Shaym Patel) 

All the participants were welcomed and briefed on the competition by Mr Muddu and Dr Ullegaddi over baps and coffee.there was a special mention about Mr Gurpreet Singh being awarded M B E for promoting diversity in medicine by her majesty the queen last year. The committee and the members congratulated Mr Singh on this recognition

All gathered together at 7.30pm in the restaurant for a 3 course dinner and the prizes were distributed during the dinner.

The 2's competition prize was shared by Shyam Patel and Matt Ravenscroft (£30 each). There was no winner for the 

1's competition and the money collected will go towards charity.

Mr Bhim Ruia lent his support to the society by participating despite not playing. He also announced a special prize of a golf shirt by Glenmuir to be presented to the 1st prize winners of both first and second division. The society thanked him and the Glenmuir company for his gracious support and kind words. We would also like to remind you all of the 15% discount offered by Glenmuir to the society members.
