AUTUMN TOURNAMENT 2019

The Indian Golf Society UK conducted its annual autumn tournament in Carden Park during Sep 14th & 15th 2019. 

 The weather Gods’ were on our side and we had a strong group of 31 golfers and 6 ladies attending the event on Saturday. We had 12 golfers playing on Sunday morning despite a bit of rain.

Saturday 14th September

Mr Muddu, Mr Jeyam and Dr Ullegaddi welcomed everyone and briefed them about the format of the competition. A special welcome to our 3 guests, Mr Elnasri Ahmed, Mr Obeid and Mr Matt Philpott, for coming and supporting our event. The group then had a quick bacon (or veg) bap with coffee before proceeding to the practice greens for a putting competition organised by Mr Jeyam. The first group teed off at 1240hrs.

After the round all the golfers then assembled in Jack’s bar for a well-deserved drink before proceeding to the Redmonds Restaurant for a sit down dinner. We had 6 ladies attending the dinner as well supporting the Society.

During the dinner Mr Muddu thanked everyone for their participation and the organising committee presided over the AGM agenda and Prize distribution.
