Summer  Competition, West Lancashire Club 22 JULY 2022 

The above Comp took place at  prestigious links  course West Lancashire Golf Club organised by our host  Miland who is a member of this club.

Anand (Treasurer) welcomed the golfers and briefed  about the Competition over coffee and baps.He also  mentioned apologies from  members who cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.

He  welcomed new members Dr Ravish Mankargod,Dr Lokesh Nagappa (Kent) and Mr Arnav  Arakanath (Milton Keynes)

The first group teed off at 11.30 and and all groups were welcomed by Local Golf Starter,Mr R Leary.

Luckily we had good weather and no rain except for few minutes of drizzle in the beginning and the links course was amazing and well maintained ,with extremely well bunkered greens,11th  hole runs along railway line with passengers watching us hit the ball!!!                                                                                                                                                               

All gathered at 5.30 in the club house dressed smartly (Jacket and Tie) for three course dinner and a glass of wine. The welcome from bar staff, pro shop, and kitchen staff was really warm and we are treated to delicious three course dinner. Anand and Anirvan conducted Prize Distribution ceremony.

No one won Hole in One so £34 will go to Charity Fund.

Babu did Vote of Thanks and he thanked all golfers who took part in Comp, Sujay, Miland  for organising the  Comp, and the staff of Club.

                  ANNUAL COMPETITION   SEP 22,2022, ASTBURY GOLF CLUB.

The Annual Golf Comp of IGSUK was held at Astbury a Golf Club ,Bridgnorth,18 Hole USAGA open parkland  golf course with gorgeous views at every corner, The par 3,18th signatory hole over lake facing club house  was beautiful  hole. The  weather Gods smiled on us and we had sunshine throughout out the day.

Over coffee and Baps Sujay (Secretary) welcomed all 22 golfers including four new golfers Ganesh,Siba,Sukh,and Ardshir. The format of Comp was briefed by Anand (Treasurer).The first group teed off at 1pm.

All gathered for well deserved refreshing drinks in Montgomery Bar. The prize ceremony was done after three course dinner and glass  of wine.
